Dift is a French donation platform, structured as a societe a mission (mission-driven company), that connects companies and associations to fund projects addressing social and ecological challenges. It launched in 2022 and adopted the Dift name in 2024, having previously operated as Captain Cause, whose endowment fund (fonds de dotation) remains part of the model.

The platform supports several ways to give. Associations can run time-boxed challenges (challenges Dift) of one to two weeks, mobilising at least ten volunteer collectors to raise funds across their networks; individuals can create solidarity pots (cagnottes solidaires) for vetted partner associations; and companies can run corporate giving operations. Donations to recognised associations generate automatic tax receipts, with the platform handling fiscal documentation for individual and corporate donors.

Its strength is the structured, campaign-based approach to association fundraising and corporate philanthropy, with vetting of beneficiary associations and built-in tax-receipt handling. The trade-offs are a France-focused, French-language service and a commission-based model whose rates differ by use case, so organisers should confirm the rate that applies to associations, individuals, or companies. For French associations and companies pursuing structured giving campaigns the fit is strong; international or individual-cause fundraisers may prefer a simpler platform.

Dift positions itself around redirecting funding toward ecological and social transition, vetting the associations it lists and emphasising measurable impact, which differentiates it from general-purpose fundraising pots.
